Living a Teenage Runway Dream
The square root of chic can be found in Dsquared2’s Fall 2012 collection ~ and let me tell you, lovelies ~ it’s a teenage dream. The entire line is at the top of my lust-have list! Now the only equation I need to solve is how quickly can I get every single piece into my closet?
Designers Dean and Dan Caten traveled back in time for a unique take on 1960′s high school fashions for a collection that was full of teased bouffant hair (and cigarettes) à la Mad Men. A look for every personality was paraded down the catwalk ~ the prim prep, the prom queen, the sex kitten, the pink lady. Send me to detention because I’m guilty as a smitten kitten for this crazy-cool collection ….
J’adorable jeans & shrunken jackets…
Faux leopard hats & shrugs…
Glittery ankle strap kitten heels…
Ladylike coats and frocks…
Crushed gold satin and pink cropped stovepipes…
Crazy-pretty pea coats (camel with hot pink lining, Paddington toggles and faux leopard collar? Yes, please!)
Colorful bow-embellished caps…
Chic leather gloves and bejeweled brooches…
Lustworthy faux fur pullovers ~ j’adore!
I’ma get your heart ra-cing in my skin-tight jeans, be your teenage dream tonight…

Pop Phone Party Line
Do you get a crick in your neck trying to cradle your iPhone? Have you ever dropped your phone trying to perform this maneuver? Do you wish you could comfortably chat up friends, family, or flirt-worthy acquaintances ~ and multitask while on hold or on a conference call? Ladies and gents, meet the Pop Phone. Fun and functional, it nestles between your ear and shoulder, is lightweight, and has Swarovski crystal clear reception.
My first thought when I saw this crazy-clever invention: Why didn’t I think of that?! Le sigh. My next question: What color should I buy? I quickly solved that dilemma by picking up two ~ one in pink and one in blue.
Lenny has black…
Eva has blue…
SJP has purple…
Daniel (and Orlando) have the red-hot hue…
It comes in polka dots…
Lil Wayne gold…
And a rainbow of colors wherever its sold. Native Union, Nordstrom, Amazon, Urban Outfitters ~ compatible with all mobile phones, Bluetooth wireless devices and computers.
If you’re not comfortable with bold statements or embarrass easily, this gadget may not be for you. Personally, I don’t know how I’ve lived without my Pop Phone ‘til this point. After breaking up with my land line a few years ago, I’ve been a mobile-only girl. Now I have the best of both worlds.
Call me ~ wink!

“Pick the day. Enjoy it – to the hilt. The day as it comes. People as
they come… The past, I think, has helped me appreciate the present – and I
don’t want to spoil any of it by fretting about the future.”
