What a bright time, it’s the right time, to rock the night away…

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved dresses and dress-up, and all the girliness in between. My love for Barbie started early with a collection of dolls, mini outfits, shoes and accessories ~ all carefully stored in a round red patent leather zip-around carrying case, with a handy handle for me to tote from room to room.

Today I still appreciate Barbie’s style, especially in the dreamy drawings of Robert Best.  The Barbie designer’s classic and stylish sketches are brimming with lovely and ladylike accoutrements: pretty purses, piles of pearls, hair ribbons, gloves and beautiful bows.
