Eye-Popping Color

Although decorationg doyenne Draper is famous for her flair for beautifully bright interior designs, her color claim is still equally on point today ~ not only for interior decor, but in the sartorial sense as well. Color is popping up in spring collections all over, so embrace it! Palette in point: neon. Have some fun with this technicolor trend ~ a little bit goes a long way in making a chic statement, so accessorize wisely, darlings!

My Fair Lady
Happy International Women’s Day, darlings!
Besides my mother and sister, one of the women who inspires me most is Audrey Hepburn. There are very few women, if any, who sparkled as lovely and brightly as Audrey ~ both inside and out.
Her class, style and charm were matched by her compassion and generosity toward others, her devotion to her loved ones, and her genuine joie de vivre.
With her heart and soul of gold, she was ~ and still is ~ such an inspiration!

Athletic, Savile Row savvy Gary Cooper was quite the style stud. When he wasn’t traveling the world on his athletic adventures or visiting expert tailors, he was busy making movies (The Fountainhead, Pride of the Yankees, High Noon ~ to name a few) and being one of the most famous actors of all time.
Gary Cooper: Enduring Style by his daughter Maria Cooper Janis gives us an additional glimpse of Gary’s personal life ~ and is chock-full of gorgeous photos.
Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy! Handsome, talented, tough, humble and gracious ~ they don’t make many men like Mr. Cooper today.
