It’s not ’til after midnight that the real party gets started on Oscar’s Eve, darlings!

As soon as Best Picture is announced (The Artist ~ c’est si bon!), the stars are whisked away from the Oscars in their limos to the real party of the evening. Here are some of my fave shots of the festivities at the Vanity Fair soirée at the Sunset Tower Hotel last night…

Bon weekend, lovelies!

Are you as giddy as I am to see the Oscar Red Carpet tomorrow? It’s time to bring on the Ooh La La! Based on what I’ve seen come down the catwalk for spring, I have high hopes for a promenade of pretty ~ pastels, brights, bows, lace, tulle, ruffles, chiffon, chignons, high ponytails and heels.

This year’s nominees have proven to be a charming batch of stylish and smart cookies so good taste in gowns should be a given. Let’s hope all the designated darlings get their sparkle on tomorrow!

Poised at 612 King Street (former home of JJ’s Hallmark), it’s open, bright and airy ~ a nice change from the darker interior of its Georgetown sister. With temps near 70 today, it’s also the perfect time to check out the pretty spring things it has in store for you!
