Me-ow Mix
When I think of that hip cat Cavalli, I think of suntanned stars and supermodels wearing his jet set threads while partying the night and day away on his posh yacht. As one of the first designers to earn rockstar status with his adoring fans, it’s no surprise that season after season, Roberto Cavalli creates gorgeous, party-ready pieces for the bold and beautiful.
Roberto, I am one smitten kitten for your Fall 2011 collection. It’s the prrrfect meow mix of sleek & sexy, luxe & ladylike, glam & girly. With your signature python, leopard, leather, and fur, I’m ready to start living the Double-07 life of a Bond girl.
Take a peek, kittens…

“I copy the dress of animal because I love to copy God. I think God is the most fantastic designer.” ~Roberto Cavalli

I’ve Got Issues…
The arrival of my September issues in my mailbox is as exciting for me today as my back-to-school outfit and school supplies were when I was a little girl.
First day of kindergarten.
Since then I’ve become a loyal subscriber of all the fashion mags and can’t wait to devour them every month – especially the September glossies – now stacked on my nightstand, ready for my review. Here’s the quick & dirty of the season’s September covers and a fall fashion forecast for you, darlings:
W

Glamour
CG: Rihanna. Dolce & Gabbana backless top & sequin pants.
InStyle
CG: Beyonce. Dolce & Gabbana dress and necklace.

Vogue UK

Vogue Paris
CG: Charlotte Casiraghi. Gorgeous granddaughter of Grace Kelly, photographed by Mario Testino.
Trends for Fall 2011 in a nutshell: there is a 60′s mod-chic vibe that I’m simply bananas for, along with loads of leopard, all sorts of fur (faux), booties, boots (knee-high and OTK), stacked oxfords, shifts, miniskirts, leather leggings, sequins, sweaters, knits and blazers. The season’s sartorial shades include bubblegum pink, buttercup, camel, classic creme, winter white, grey, and black – as well as deep and shocking shades of peacock blue, bordeaux, and the always perfectly pretty Pantone picks.
And of course no Fall collection would be complete without a fabulous coat – every girl knows that!
A fave Fall memory: Mini Medestrian rocking a white (faux) fur coat & matching hat, with her stylish Sis in an autumn plaid coat with matching cap.
